About Us

Connecting Winona was created September 10,2010 by individuals from Winona that were blessed by the Lord to be a blessing to others. The main concept of the organization was to give back to the community of Winona with focus on the Senior citizens and the youth. There are thirteen original members and the organization is open for new members. In 2012 Connecting Winona gave 75 gift bags to nursing homes and home bound members. In 2013 and 2014 we also provided youth with back to school supplies. In 2014 Connecting Winona Incorporated and became a Non-Profit Organization. Connecting Winona also has filed for Tax-Exempted status to seek tax-deducible donations and we are written federal grants to see fund for a complete program for the Senior Citizens and youth of Winona.
